The lights are on
Angry Birds has been everywhere in recent months, popping up on Conan, birthday cakes, board games, plushies, and 30 million Android devices. If you've been too distracted by Facebook to notice, prepare to be subjected to its charms later this year. It's coming to Facebook, and this version features "completely new aspects to it that just haven't been experienced in any other platform," according to Rovio head Mikael Hed.
He also mentions that there will be collaborative elements to the Facebook version and that "the pigs will have a more prominent role." Considering all they really did in the original game was sit under precariously-built structures until a block fell on their heads, this could mean any number of things.
With 75 million downloads already under its belt, it won't be long before just about everyone you've ever met has played Angry Birds.
