The lights are on
To make up for a launch plagued by technical issues, Atari and Eden Games are giving away the first premium DLC for Test Drive Unlimited 2. In what basically amounts to an apology, Atari is making good with the gamers who have stuck with the racing title by not charging for the Exploration Pack. In addition, in a post on the game's official forum, Atari has announced that the following fixes have been made to address technical issues:
These fixes are currently available on PC, and pending approval on consoles. At any rate, it looks like a pretty serious list of problems...enough to make me wonder how many people have stuck with the game this long to see these problems addressed. Seriously, "save games no longer corrupt"? Who puts up with that?

I have a question about Xbox updates that I have been wondering about. I recently read that 360 game updates go into the system cache...and that the cache only holds 4 or 5 updates at a time. This means, won't there come a day when Microsoft stops supporting the 360 and then people will be SOL for playing games with the latest update? I.e, it'll be original disc version or nothing?
I like free things
that sounds like a great deal to me. I love free things.
*** I remember the first Test Drive, was a *** game. Hope the second one is better!!!!
Will definately start playing this again when the title update arrives. Despite it's short comings when the game works it's enjoyable.
