The lights are on
According to Destructoid, hackers can now apparently unban themselves. Even more disturbing, those users can even ban other players, provided they have access to the victim's console ID. As one hacker said last month, "The complete console is compromised – there is no way back."
And if you don't know this by now, don't give anyone access to your PS3's console ID. Seriously.

I swear to god... I get hacked.. Imma become a lawyer and a FBI agent and find every muthaF***a doin this B.S.!
"The Internet isn't written in pencil, Mark. It's written in ink!"
They'll get what's coming to them. What comes around goes around.
While i respect these hackers for their inventiveness, creativity, and talent, i must say that in the end all they are doing is hurting the larger community. So please, just stop this and focus on using your talents on more creative objectives.
WHERES KEVIN BUTLER NOW, PS3 FANBOYS!
Just kidding lol. These hackers should get a life.
Maybe SONY should employ the best hackers to combat the problem. Just a thought.
Wow. That just sucks. Why do people have nothing better to do than ruin other peoples lives?
Seriously beginning to reconsider owning a PS3... I'm picking up some bad vibes from this whole mess...
sony... you are so screwed... xD
I love the ps3, but sony has to try harder in this war
This is a big issue I hope Sony can do something about this. I love playing my PS3 and hope a few a$$holes don't really screw things up for the gamers out there who don't have to cheat to play games.
This is ridiculous. Why would people do this? It's pathetic really. If you're into modding and such, play your games on the PC, but don't ruin someone else's gaming experience by messing with yours and their console.
I hope Sony sends hitmen instead of patches because my poor PS3 is running out of memory to store them all.
