The lights are on
According to Destructoid, hackers can now apparently unban themselves. Even more disturbing, those users can even ban other players, provided they have access to the victim's console ID. As one hacker said last month, "The complete console is compromised – there is no way back."
And if you don't know this by now, don't give anyone access to your PS3's console ID. Seriously.

this is just shameful. these players brought this upon themselves, and they should just take their punishment
Keep fighting Sony. don't let those cheating poop heads get away with it. lol
What is the console ID then..? I guess it's not my PSN ID?
*** these people.
It is becoming increasingly clear that these people will always be a step ahead of Sony. I fear this means the worst for all of us. They will protect their property, one way or another. When I first heard about the authentication codes I thought there was no way it could happen, now I see it being almost inevitable.
Of course I don't know for sure if the hackers can unban and then ban others, maybe it is a bluff. As these PS3 hackers as a whole tend to be conceited *** douchebags there is no way they will stop. They have to prove that they can do it, and that they are better than the companies that didn't hire them. Guess what, there are times when you don't get hired because you have no techincal skill, not being a Dick goes a long way sometimes. Sorry for the rant, I just......
Welcome to the Xbox party, PS3!
This is getting out of hand.
I kind of think that the attention these guys are getting is working against Sony and those of us who game fair and square.
Maybe if we would chill on the articles and comments it would lose some steam. Don't know, just a thought.
AHAHAHAHAHA. Hackers are dicks and all, but i can't help but find this funny. Good thing i don't even play my PS3 online anymore.
I. HATE. HACKERS.
*goes to cool down*
This is getting really bad.
This isn't good. I hope this doesn't mean honest console users will get any repercussions from this.
Sadly Sony is fighting a losing battle and all of us honest gamers are gonna end up paying for a few idiots.
Hey, at least it's free to play online with the hackers.
whay can't these assholes just leave it alone and play it normally like everyone else? the onlything that pisses me off more is their *** "justification"
throw these *** in jail
or fry their system
whatever comes first
