Buy Bulletstorm, Get Gears Of War (One) Free

But only on PC, and only on the least gamer-friendly storefront out there. Microsoft's Games for Windows Live Marketplace is running a deal from Bulletstorm's February 22 launch through March 8.

Is this going to be enough to get you to use GFWLM over other digital or physical retailers? While I like free stuff, Microsoft has a long way to go to make me not find GFWL or its M intrusive and abhorrent.

On the other hand, free stuff…

…if you somehow haven't played Gears of War yet.

    Considering Gears 1 is $5 used at Gamestop, this isn't the least bit exciting. If anything, it makes me question the quality of Bulletstorm.

    Edit: Ohhh, just for PC. My mistake.

    Whats GFWLM or GFWL? and what about Microsoft? not that i have anything agaisnt this but i havent heard of Microsoft being least user firendly, maybe they are, but i dont know

    i all ready own GoW1 on PC if it was GoW2 even with some extra many on the price you got you're self a deal

    Way to give me false hope with that headline. Yeah, I already have Gears 1, but an extra copy would still be nice to give to a friend or something. But alas, GFWL sucks. It's still a good incentive for PS3 owners though.

    Sounds to me like EPIC wants to desperately sell this title (even if it's just the pc version). truthfully, the only reason I'd go with this deal is for the GOW and not just for the title bullet storm.  So its to me like buying GOW for $60 and getting a crappy side game i'll only play once on the side.

    Gears of war for PC had AWESOME singleplayer, it had that extra act, but a horrible patch problem - I could never get multiplayer to work. I loved it so much I was forced to buy a 360 for the second one :) .
