Online Battles Start With Pokémon Trainer Challenge

Pokémon fans looking to play their favorite card battle game on their web browser can sink their teeth into Pokémon Trainer Challenge this April.

The online game will initially offer three preconstructed decks for you to use against others in a three-league system, with more features and additions promised after launch.

As of April 6 you'll also be able to go to a store in real life and buy Pokémon Black & White cards that can then be transferred into Pokémon Trainer Challenge online.

I use to do this in the mall when I was a kid back when Pokemon was just starting out. Fun stuff cause you had to face people to get badges. Oh the good old days...

Sweeeeeetttt! I was just thinking about how I need to start playing this game again. I need to play more analog games in general. This is the perfect way to get back into the swing of things! It's been like a decade since I've played and it is hardly the same game. Wow. Nintendo is REALLY stepping it up with the Pokémon franchise. I can't wait to see what comes next!

As someone who played in Pokemon TCG tournaments all the time many years ago, this is so long overdue. The Pokemon TCG GBC game couldn't hold me over forever.
