The lights are on
Duke Nukem will be entering a crowded, competitive FPS market when Duke Nukem Forever releases May 3. Think about it, the old-timer has been out of the game for a long time, and he might be a little threatened by the youthful competition. Perhaps that's why the Duke decided to insult Master Chief's legendary armor.
Apparently in an early section of the game, Duke comes across Halo's trademark green helmet and armor. He sees the defensive gear and makes a derogatory comment regarding anyone who would wear it. Check out a screenshot of the armor in question at Kotaku.
I can't wait to see what other references this game has packed in it. What games or pop culture topics do you hope they poke fun at?

I didnt know Max Hedrom changed his name to Duke Nukem.
I do admit that its funny but im still a big Halo fan. There better not be any Mass Effect jokes though. lol
other than obvious games like CoD i wonder if there will be any other mainstream games that are in development or any praise from duke for other games (exluding games that deal with himself)
That's Duke for ya lol.
maybe we'll see a big daddy reference... that'd be awesome
I'm pretty sure I remember the duke referring to Lara Croft's outfit as "skanky" at some point in his younger days
