Spyro fans will place their action figures on the the Portal of Power mat, which will magically transport them into the game. Each character has unique abilities like elemental powers which will unlock different experiences in the game. Technology inside the toys will even store achievements or leveled up abilities. Friends can use their collectible figures to play cooperatively or against one another.

No information has been released regarding platforms for the game besides that it's coming for PC, handhelds, and consoles. However, some guess could be made considering the 3DS and NGP's augmented Reality capabilities. More will be revealed during the 2011 American International Toy Fair.
