Double Dragon Headed To iPhone
Double Dragon! Now there's a classic franchise we haven't heard much from in a long time. And, hey, it turns out it's coming back! ...sort of.
Joystiq reports that publisher Aksys Games and developer Brizo Interactive will be putting out a new version of Double Dragon for the iPhone in March. As you can see in the screen above, the game places a huge controller across the bottom of your screen rather than taking advantage of any sort of gimmicky in-game touch controls, which could be a blessing or a curse.
As little as I'm interested in playing Double Dragon on the iPhone, I'm still hopeful that this project turns out, if only so that we can see more of the series in a more respectable format soon.
