New Lord Of The Rings Trailer Highlights Black Númenórean Foes
Snowblind Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive have released a new look at the upcoming The Lord of the Rings: War in the North side story, which takes place as Sauron mounts his attack on Rivendell. Since he also has his hands full with Bilbo and company, he enlists a terrifying ally: the Black Númenórean. This race of ancient men was obsessed with thwarting death and studying the black arts. Needless to say, your three characters aren't going to have an easier time than the heroes we're already familiar with.
In addition to the trailer below, there are some new screens from the game in the gallery at the bottom. They show off the game's winter environments as well as something that looks an awful lot like a dragon. Look for The Lord of the Rings: War in the North to hit the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC sometime in 2011.
