Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Hitting March 22

Though it was originally supposed to come out last fall, the latest LEGO venture from LucasArts and Traveller's Tales has a solid release date that isn't far, far away.

LucasArts has confirmed that LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will be released on March 22. With the well of Star Wars movies running dry, the game features key events and characters from the Clone Wars animated series -- with some Attack of the Clones stuff thrown in for good measure.

While you're waiting for March to roll around, you can read our hands-on preview to get a better idea of what you're in for. It is a LEGO game, though, so you probably already know exactly what to expect.

    OMG...in your latest issue you said FEB. 15th. Arrrggggg, slander, throw fit. You completly ruined my list of buying/renting games. I'm kidding. Can't wait to play this.

    this game looks like it could be cool, pre-ordered it along with my 3ds not at gamestop of course because amazon.com doesn't charge sales tax :)

    I never understood what kind of concept to make a video game based off of LEGO characters. I mean like, why not make realistic models instead of LEGOs in a video game. It's just retarded, I'm sorry.

    I really don't get excited about Lego video games but this one looks just too cute! But it also seems like a solid game for what it is.

    I love the split screen between gameplay and cutscene!

    LEGO "at the movies" is looking cool!

    Woohoo, I can't get enough of the LEGO series of games. I will likely wait until it hits the 20-30 dollar mark, though.
