Angry Birds Head For Rio

The iPhone hit Angry Birds is getting a strange kind of sequel. It seems that developer Rovio Mobile has teamed up with the creators of Ice Age to make a Angry Bird titles that ties into 20th Century Fox's upcoming animated film Rio.

Rio hits theaters on April 15, but Angry Birds Rio will be hitting cell phones in March. Here’s the trailer:

Sure. Whatev. I don't know why so many people get so worked up over this game. It's a fun little distraction in between doing other daily crap. It's free on the Droid (not sure if Rio will be) and helps pass the time at the grocery store when you're waiting in line for the one-armed 98-year-old in front of you to pay with a check. I've heard a lot of people say "I hate Angry Birds," and their reason is usually akin to "Because a lot of other people like it" or "A bird dropped a deuce on me once." Stop it, already.
