Pokémon Global Link Offers More Ways To Train In Black And White Versions

by Annette Gonzalez on Jan 27, 2011 at 10:15 AM

As we slowly inch closer to the March release of Pokémon's Black and White versions, The Pokémon Company continues to roll out new details to further excite fans about the releases. In Pokémon Black and White, players will be able to access the Pokémon Global Link website that will launch after the games hit retail. This service will allow you to sync your DS game save to PCs in order to access exclusive content, collect more critters, communicate with other trainers, view Worldwide Battle Ratings, and more.

The Pokémon Company reports three components of Global Link:

Dream World: Interact with Pokémon and engage in minigames for new items and creatures that can be transferred back to your game.

Global Battle Union: Keep track of your battle records and earn a Worldwide Rating that may earn top performers an invite to participate in live regional tournaments in the Pokémon Video Game Championship series. Might even make your way to the world championships in San Diego!

Global Trade Station: Launching later this year, the trade station will allow you to track worldwide trades.

These online features present just some of the fun diversions you'll find when exploring the expansive Unova region once the games finally get their North American release on March 6.
