Wesker Voice Actor Hopeful For RE 6 Audition
Survival Horror fan site Hell Descent has snagged an interview with Albert Wesker voice actor D.C. Douglas, and is reporting that he's hopeful to reprise his role in the inevitable franchise follow up.
“Hell yeah! I know RE 6 is in the works, so hopefully I’ll get a chance to audition for it…or you guys could bug Capcom into casting me in it! ;-) I’m workin’ it, baby!” reads a choice quote taken from the interview.
Douglas also dropped another interesting bit of info to mull over – he wouldn’t mind stepping into the shoes of a Wesker clone instead of Wesker prime. The idea isn’t too farfetched considering the antagonist devolved into what we fondly call a “meat tornado” at the end of Resident Evil 5.

Little is known about Resident Evil 6 at this point other than that it exists. During a week of festivities leading up to Resident Evil 5’s release, 1Up originally reported that the next pillar title would be a complete reboot. CVG later divulged that RE 5 producer Jun Takeuchi won’t be returning for Resident Evil 6.
Back in September we were promised news about the game “soon.” Here’s hoping Capcom makes good on that promise.
