Sonic Creator Yuji Naka Creating Wii/3DS Title
The father of Sonic is creating a “sky fantasy” game for the Nintendo Wii and 3DS. The game is called Rodea The Sky Soldier and is due out in Japan this year.
There is no confirmation on the game’s Western release, but that will probably have a lot to do with gamers’ interest in the title.
The game takes place in a floating fantasy world called Garuda. The heroine, Rodea, must defend the continent in the sky from a mechanized enemy called the Naga. You can probably already guess how the Wii flight controls would work.
