Mark Your Calendars For Mortal Kombat's Release Date

Earlier today, we brought you a clip of the lovely (shudder) Mileena in action. In addition to the video, Warner Bros. Interactive has also zeroed in on the game's release date beyond the "April 2011" they've been trotting out.

Look for Mortal Kombat on April 19. Ta dah! You still have time to determine which version of the game you want to get. If you don't care about Mortal Kombat, this could very well be the easiest decision you'll make today.

And yes, it took every ounce of restraint not to spell "calendar" with a "k" in that dumb Mortal Kombat way.

    Terrible box art. I think they should have just gone with the flaming MK dragon logo on a black background. That would have looked epic.

    Can't wait for this game. I'm surprised they haven't announced Liu Kang as a fighter yet though. It seems he's the first person they'd announce lol

    I'll be picking up the 360 version.  Main reason is that my PS3, uh, does not exist.  That's gonna have to change soon.  I'm missing out on a lot of great exclusives.

    Looks like there isn't an exclusive x-box character upon release. Oh well, as cool as one would be ultimately I wouldn't play the character all that often.
