Gears Of War Triple Pack Confirmed

In early January rumor of an upcoming Gears of War compilation began to circulate the web after IGN spotted a listing on Gamestop.com. Despite the listing being promptly removed, a representative from Epic confirmed that a Gears of War bundle was in the works, but that the final name may not be in line with the leaked "Gears of War Ultimate Edition"

Officially announced today, the product has taken on the moniker of "Gear of War Triple Pack." If you’ve yet to play Epic’s first two Gears installments, the Triple Pack will include Gears of War and Gears of War 2, in addition to the Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection. All Fronts is a sizable inclusion, adding a bonus campaign chapter – Road to Ruin – and 19 multiplayer maps to the pot.

The Gears Triple Pack will hit retail on February 15 for $29.99. Epic points out that the price nabs you 38 maps, 61 campaign chapters, and a chance to secure 3,000 Gamerscore.

Niiiiiiiiiiiice.

Well, seeing as I own Gears 1 and 2 this really isn't for me. But that All Fronts Pack sounds cool. Is it available as DLC?

sweet. I may have to pick this up during one of the slow months this year along with Alan Wake, NBA 2K11, and Bioshock. Currently playing Assassins Creed Brotherhood and eying Two Worlds II with hope it will be good.

Its a good deal really like Gears Of War but a Triple pack with only two games makes no sense? They may need to fund GOW3 but at least use a sensible name how about "Double Pack with bonus features" ??

You can pretty much get this at GS for $25.00 already. Get used copy of Gears 1 used for $5.00 (not sure if you can buy this new anymore)and New Gears 2 GOTY edtion for $20.00. Oh course you don't get the fancy package but then you don't have to wait and it cost less.

I was gonna rent them both from gamefly but maybe il just wait an extra month. Gamerscore and mp don't really matter to me but i've always heard the sp and co-op were top notch

I've only played Gears of War 2 and I must say that I don't understand the buzz on the game. Yeah, it's different, but... the story is just a huge turn off. Maybe I just need to play the first game.
