A New James Bond Movie Means A New Game

The 23rd James Bond film has been green-lit, and with it naturally means that there will also be a new game as well.

There are no details on the upcoming game such as whether it will ship with the release of the movie, who will make it, or whether it will be tied to the plot of the film, but according to Hollywood blog Deadline, the game has been given the go-ahead.

Late last year, there were rumors that Raven Software was working on a stealth-based Bond title, but whether this newly minted official title is indeed Raven's project is unknown.

The as-yet-unnamed movie (currently dubbed Bond 23) will be directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty), star Daniel Craig, and come out on November 9, 2012.

Always up for a new Bond movie....Bond games however, not so much. Golden Eye was the only good one

Wooo Another Bond Movie. I Been Dying For A New One. I Like The Games They Are Good. But The One Game To Really catch The Bond Feel Was Blood Stone. Great Game It Was Like A Movie The Team Who Made Blood Stone Need To Make The Next Game. Just Fix The Multiplayer & Thats It.

Please, stop trying to make new Bond games and just put all that talent into making the movie better. Casino Royale was fantastic but Quantum of Solace slipped a bit...if 23 isn't good I'll be devastated.

ha, i'm more interested in the movie than the game. good news, i can't wait. and sam mendes at the helm should mean it's compelling. in fact, considering the studio troubles, i wonder if it will be pared down action- and set-wise, and if that's why mendes was brought in, to focus on character and story development?

its a shame that a lot of people dont know that casino royal was a remake of one of the first james bond movies and that there are 23. goldfinger was the best if you ask me.

All I have to say is it *** well better be better than the last two games. Quantum of Solace and Blood Stone were so average they bored me at times. This is Bond, it is a lot of things, but never boring.
