Killzone 3 Packs 70 Minutes Of Cutscene Punch

by Tim Turi on Jan 13, 2011 at 12:15 PM

I've always enjoyed the Killzone series for its amazing graphics, great gameplay, and the great Helghast enemy. However, I've always thought the series could afford to fluff up its story a bit with added cutscenes and narrative. It looks like Guerrilla is doing just that with Killzone 3, as the sequel will contain over an hour of cutscenes.

The British Board of Film Classification rated the Amsterdam-based developer's game 18+, also stating that the game had 70 minutes of cutscenes. That's roughly three times more than Killzone 2! This is definitely good news for Killzone fans and enthusiasts of terrific-looking gaming cinema in general, as Guerrilla's graphical fidelity tends to impress.

Killzone 3 is due out for PS3 February 22, 2011.
