PS3 Exclusive Tomb Raider Trilogy Pack Detailed

by Meagan Marie on Jan 06, 2011 at 04:21 AM

While the Tomb Raider Trilogy was confirmed a few weeks back through an Amazon listing and a subsequent Twitter update by global brand director Karl Stewart, we’re only now getting the official official scoop.

The pack will include Tomb Raider: Legend and Tomb Raider: Anniversary in HD quality, in addition to Tomb Raider: Underworld. This marks the first time Legend and Anniversary will be playable on the PlayStation 3, as they were originally developed for the console's predecessor.

“We’re really excited to be able to offer gamers the chance to play both Legend and Anniversary remastered in high definition on the PlayStation 3,” said Darrell Gallagher, Crystal Dynamics' head of studio. “These are two titles we are extremely proud to have created.”

In addition to nabbing the three titles, PlayStation 3 owners will gain access to a Tomb Raider theme pack, the official Lara Croft Home avatar ensemble, and the Viking Thrall male Home avatar skin. Stewart clarified via Twitter that there will be no Underworld DLC included in the trilogy pack.

The Tomb Raider Trilogy Pack will release on March 22 for $39.99 and joins other HD collections such as God of War, Team Ico, and Sly Cooper.
