Fable Coin Golf Coming To Windows Phone 7

Popular Microsoft’s series like Halo and Crackdown have already made their way over to the company’s new mobile platform, but Microsoft hasn’t finished tapping existing properties for its new phone just yet. Fable is the next series that will be getting its own mobile title before the end of the year.

Microsoft didn’t reveal much about Fable Coin Golf other than to say that money earned in the game would transfer over to characters in Fable III. A brief video during Microsoft’s CES keynote also showed off the company’s new Game Room service, which would allow users to play arcade classics like Pac-Man and Centipede on Windows 7 Phones.

This looks absolutely terrible, I hope no one actually pays for this. Also, its not like anyone really needs any more gold in fable 3. By the end I had enough to own the world five times over

I agree with you Solfleet. They need to make money harder to get in the next Fable (which im sure they are gonna make). In Fable 1 it was actually hard to get money (unless you did the "cheat"). But then they add jobs in Fable 2 and 3 where you don't even need to use the jobs to get money. They hand you the money. Why buy this coin golf game for earning money when they give you all the money you'll ever need in Fable 3(upwards of 8,000,000 gold)? Sounds really dumb to me. I guess Microsoft really needs games on their new phone...

Wish they'd spend as much time as they do coming up with cash-ins on the real Fable titles, you know, doing some play-testing...

Money is a weak incentive too. Why don't they screw with people by making some achievements in Fable 3 only earnable if you buy this drivel, just like they did with Pub Games?

From what I hear about the storyline of the Fable franchise, this seems to not go with the story at all! Since I haven't but am planning to play Fable 3, I don't think there is any section in the real game where you play...Coin Golf.

Looks like quarters meet mini-golf. Huh, at this rate you won't need to make any money in game, between the pub games and this you can make a fortune before you even step foot into the game world.

Coin Golf was my favorite mini-game from the first game, but I wouldn't pay to play just that part.
