The lights are on
Here at Game Informer, we have a staff of experienced gamers that have played and defeated just about every game you can imagine. However, we were utterly defeated by one particular title last summer...1997's Overblood. I had the main game picked for our Revolution X episode of Replay, but I needed to grab something from the vault for our Roulette game. I scanned the Playstation section and spotted Overblood, an EA-published game that I had never even heard of. What followed was perhaps the most unsuccessful moment of our gaming careers, and it was all caught on tape. With Tim at the controls and Reiner, Matt Helgeson, and myself trying to figure out what to do, we froze to death in the very first room of the game.
Well, we're back for revenge. We vow to play through the entirety of this completely forgettable survival horror title, and we're giving you lucky readers the chance to watch the drama unfold. Enjoy.
1/10 UPDATE: The password thing might have gotten messed up since people posted them in the comments, but our readers have put together a Facebook group for people that watched all six parts. Join and mourn the loss from Part 2 with others that know your pain.
1/12 UPDATE: Yeah, we got us some Pipo shirts.

I might watch this tonight while I'm drunk off my ass. Happy New Year Game Informer! Here is to more great replays on into 2011!
WEINERLESS STEVE has rib hands. That first death: Great death, or, THE GREATEST death? Tops freezing to death in the first room. www.youtube.com/watch
My exact thoughts on this super replay.
I am going to watch all of these, just because of that horrible setback.
Best super replay ever, and it's only the first episode. Yay for Pipo and the other guy who's nickname is the password for if we watched it! Hope you find the voice recorder soon
This is going to be the greatest Super Replay of all time.
Oh my god. I feel for you guys, really, I do. For all my sympathy, I do have one thing I'd like to say. in the room where you can turn the power switch on/off, but it has no apparrant purpose, you don't have to push that massive crate back and forth every time. After pushing it towards the far wall, push the tiny crate towards the wall, and then you'll be able to push the other tiny crate away from the front of the switch. Just a time saver. Not that it matters, seeing as you've already recorded all of this. Besides, you get away with stuff like that seeing as you guys are real troopers. Seriously, thanks for sticking it out to bring us such quality entertainment. Happy new year's eve !!! :D
The recording chip that will let you save is in the room where you find pipo lol that was killing me the entire episode!!!!!!
this already may be my favorite replay
Great replay! I definitely don't envy you guys, but I can't believe that GI gave this game a 7.25 when it was released.
Overblood 2: The sequel to the first game. The year is 2115 in the city of East Edge. Your character, Acano Brandi, has arrived in the city to compete in "Junk Blading". Trying to do a good deed, he helps an old man when he is attacked at the heliport. Little does he know he's going to play a major role in the planet's future. This installment of the series was never released in North America. The game has a bug which freezes the gameplay and you cannot complete the game
