The lights are on
If you've been waiting for critical darling Super Meat Boy to hit WiiWare, it appears that you'll be waiting for an eternity.
Team Meat tweeted today that the previously delayed WiiWare edition of its punishing platformer has been canceled all together, and that a retail offering for the Nintendo Wii "looks grim."
Although Team Meat is still looking into a boxed release for the Wii, for now Xbox Live and PC offerings remain the only outlets available to put Meat Boy through his paces. At least the amazing PC box art earns a few points in its favor.
Let me guess, Nintendo only now found out that its a game about a dead fetus stealing a girl made from bandages from a boy made of rancid bloody meat, and other stuff like that.
I bet they'll release super tofu boy on the wii, though
Nooooo!! I was waiting for it to release on the Wii for the longest time! Looks like I'll have to install Steam now.
*** good thing I have a computer, because I held off to wait for this on WiiWare. Too bad though, Nintendo might want to reconsider the size situation when it comes to games that you know will sell tons.
And Xbox 360 is the one system i Don't own. sigh
Dang It! I was looking forward to this game
Hopefully they release a retail version, that would be perfect for me since I wouldn't be able to buy it online.
Now that's not fair.
I was waiting for it on wii, until I got bored and got it on steam
That's some awesome box art.
Darm... I wanted it for my Wii. Oh well, I will get it on my computer or 360.
