The lights are on
Contributing in a big way to the It Gets Better Project, EA released an inspirational video today featuring stories from LGBT staffers about growing up gay. The project was conceived after bullying led two gay teens – Justin Aaberg and Billy Lucas – to commit suicide in unrelated incidences.
The video begins on a slightly somber note, detailing the hardships that spawned the project in the first place. During the lengthy video the tone changes to a more positive one, however, as the EA staffers discuss their accomplishments and shed light on what the future can hold for struggling youth.
Kudos to EA.

This is really gay
It's good to see stuff like this. As a soldier it hurts me to see such bigotry in the country I'm fighting for. We've got enough people outside the country who hate us, why hate each other? Rock on, EA.
Definitely Kudos to EA
I love when my two most favorite and beloved worlds collide ^_^

I am deeply moved and want to thank everyone involved in the video, this article, and all the positive comments.
Why? For standing up and saying what you think is right. Even in the danger of being bullied yourself, or attacked by those *** crazy people.
I'm still quite disappointed with the fact that our society is still so... discriminating. Every year, every decade that goes by you think things may have by and large gotten better, then you realize it really hasn't... it's pretty sad.
And on that note, a tip of the hat to EA for contributing to this project.
I'm sorry that it took so long for me to watch this. Great video, sincere compliments to EA. I found the comments on this article fascinating, thanks for staying civil.
I'm so tired of hearing WE'RE GAY everywhere I go! I'm bisexual and I don't tell that to everyone I see in the street. I hate that a majority of homosexuals think they are "special" and need "special treatment
WHO F*CKING CARES WHO YOU ARE SLEEPING WITH!
