The lights are on
Daft Punk's soundtrack for the film Tron Evolution has won high praise from fans, but the video game adaptation of the movie also features some cool, futuristic music, composed by video game and dance producer Sascha Dikiciyan. Now, thanks to the L.A. based media wizards at I Am 8-Bit, the game soundtrack has been released on vinyl, in awesome 12-inch picture disc form.Sascha, who releases dance music under the name Toksin, has done music for such games as Quake III Arena, Prototype, Borderlands, and James Bond: Tomorrow Never Dies.The vinyl release is a limited edition, and looks great -- especially the vinyl itself, which is crafted to look like a Tron disc. Can't wait to put this on the record player. Cool stuff. Here are some more shots of it.

They really went all out with the Tron merchandising that's for sure. This looks cool and I might add it to my collection. I have yet to play the game, but want to give it a shot even though it has received mostly negative reviews. I'm a Tron fan from when it was released originally and must have seen the first movie over 100 times. When I was a kid, it was one of the coolest things I had ever seen. If I recall, it too got trashed when it first was released, but is now looked at as a cult classic. Doubtful the game will ever get that distinction though. The one thing that interests me most about the game is that across the board, everyone seems to agree that the multiplayer is good.
this is one of the coolest records i have ever seen. the art on the case is cutting edge, yet retro. amazing. i am a huge Tron fan and this is an absolute must acquire.
