want his game so bad. i play Imperial Gurad, but space marines are awsome.

Hooray, another game about space marines.

Not really catching my attention, though I usually love this stuff.

It looks cool, but at the same time, it doesn't really pique my interest

OHHHH he pwned that orc thingy. But in seriousness i really think i could enjoy this game alot after what ive seen. It appeals to my videogame interests; RTS, aliens, and carnage.

Game is looking good. Is that a chainsaw blade? I flashed back to Gears of War for a second.

Are people even trying anymore? I mean the games called space marine, and a roided out soldier is cutting a monster in half with some sort of saw gun. Even the emblem on the shoulder armor looks like a cog. Its like THQ picked up a copy of Gears of War for dummies and is tryin to cash in before 3 comes out.

Eh, wait for the reviews first.

Looking quite nice for a game almost a year away. Hope they're able to keep this one on track, would love to buy it if it's good.

Im gonna say just a few tings, not to be a ****, but because I'm seeing a lot of Gears comparisons/ripoff comments. 1. Warhammer 40,000 invented the term "Space Marine", if not literally, figuratively at least, in the 80's. Master Chief, Marcus Fenix, "Insert Soldier in Space Name Here"; all thanks to 40k. Type Space Marine into google image search. You'll get one of these guys. 2. Space Marine is a colloquial title for these power-armored bamfs. It is not a lack of imagination on the developers part. "Space Marine" is what these gents are called, instead of "Warrior of the Adeptus Astartes" or some other long drawn out title, which would be admittedly cliche as hell. 3. Someone mentioned this, but you see the awesome chainsword there? Yeah 40k invented that too. Also in the 80's. 3a. Unrelated, but Im sure a lot of you played SC: Wings of Liberty. You know the Zerg? Also invented by the fine people at Games Workshop. In conclusion: 40k was the original super soldier in space, curb stomping, blasting, and chainsawing aliens in half before the first FPS.
