The SSX Snowball Gathers Speed & Size
The world is more than ready for the return of EA's SSX series, and there are fresh reports about the next installment in the series.
According to sources with Kotaku, a new SSX is being prepped by EA Canda, and it'll not only feature the team from Black Box that did EA's Skate series, but it'll also take that franchise's use of the right analog stick.
The game is believed to be debuting this weekend with Spike TV's VGA Awards, and earlier this year EA registered SSX domain names and put out a survey teasing a potential, unnamed snowboarding game featuring "an intense, moment-to-moment battle against the forces created from riding your snowboard over the most spectacular and remote mountains on Earth." The title would also apparently feature avalanches, falling rocks, base jumping, helicopter rescues, ice climbing, and more.
