Play Online Games With The Game Informer Community This Weekend

Rumor has it that Minneapolis is going to be blanketed in snow all weekend, but even if you're not stuck inside like us, I've got a good excuse for you to spend the weekend with a controller in your hands: the Game Informer Online Weekend Frag-Fest.

Put together by community member eyros2k, the online multiplayer celebrations will begin at 4 p.m. Pacific tomorrow, December 4. Games will be played across all platforms -- PS3, 360, PC, and Wii -- and titles up for play include Call of Duty: Black Ops, Red Dead Redemption, Halo Reach, Borderlands, Metal Gear Online, Counter-Strike, and many more.

For full details, read this post by eyros2k and leave your Gamertag/online handle for people to contact you this weekend. Some users will be taking video and screenshots, so don't do anything embarrassing and have fun!

Yeah for people complaining about a lack of PS3 support on this: pitch your name in the hat, the "weak" support only reflects the weak response from PS3 only peeps.

Anyway thanks to eyros2k for taking the reins on this, and thank you Phil for highlighting this endeavor, hopefully this will help more people find their way to the fun.
