by Ben Reeves on Dec 02, 2010 at 06:30 AM

Excitement is slowly building for Kenneth Branagh's motion picture adaptation of Marvel’s The Mighty Thor, but that’s not the only place that fans of the god of thunder can get their Asgardian fix this summer. Sega has been working on a Thor game for some time, but today the publisher announced that its also signed Thor and Loki themselves on as voice actors.

Actor Chris Hemsworth, most famous as Captain Kirk's father in 2009’s Star Trek reboot, will be reprising his role of Thor for Sega's Thor: God of Thunder. Royal Academy of Dramatic Art graduate Tom Hiddleston, who plays Loki in the upcoming film, will provide voice over for the game as well.

We still haven’t had hands-on time with the title, but earlier today Sega released the first screenshots. Check them out below.
