Resistance 3 Trailer To Air On VGAs

Sony's PlayStation blog dropped the news that a brand-new trailer for its upcoming shooter epic Resistance 3 will air on the Spike TV Video Game Awards on Sunday, December 11. The trailer will center around live-action recreation of events from the game, but Sony also promises that it will mark the first time that playable footage of the actual game will be shown to the public. Looks like the VGAs are going to be mandatory viewing this year.

The announcements just keep getting bigger and bigger regarding the VGAs. I think it'll be the first year I watch it. It's on TV, right? I would hope so, being hosted by Spike TV. ;)

I watched last year's VGA. It was kinda biased in my opinion but hey, no one else is doing video game awards like that ( IM TALKING TO YOU, GAMEINFORMER!!!)

Is it just me or are the VGA's slowly becoming like the Canes movie festival for showing off new games? I'm not saying it's anywhere near as classy or well respected, but it still seems to be coming up with a lot of big time announcements for that night.
