Super Meat Boy is already filled with cameos from other indie games, such as Tim from Braid and a headcrab from Half-Life, and it looks like there's still room in the roster. Minecraft is getting an official presence in the game, via a new character, Mr. Minecraft.

YouTube user moomanibe has posted a video that shows the character in action, avoiding dangers by tunneling right through walls and avoiding tricky jumping sections by summoning his own blocky platforms. Yes, it essentially destroys the game's balance, but it's also a hilarious display of just how close Bandage Girl is to the start of most levels. If only Meat Boy were as skilled as some of his pals..,

WOW! He might be better than Meat Ninja (though I haven't unlocked him because you have to get 100% in the game.)

I've only played the demo of Super Meat Boy, but that was enough to tell me it's the hardest platformer since N+. And I actually beat N+, so the fact that the demo was hard enough to make me angry does not bode well.

This totally makes stuff easier. I love how they add so many playable characters on a whim. Tofu boy was added in, what, 12 hours or so after the PETA parody? Awesome.

If possible, I'll get this on Steam.
