Gameloft Announces Totally Unique Sci-Fi Strategy Game
If you think I'm being facetious when I say that I've never seen anything like Gameloft's newly-revealed StarFront: Collision, congratulations: You can accurately read Internet sarcasm. As a reward, please enjoy the first details and trailer on this very familiar-looking strategy game.
Like a certain other strategy game we love from earlier in the year, StarFront is all about an intergalactic struggle between three different races. Whether you want to play as the bulky space marines, the bug-like aliens, or the stoic robot faction, you'll be able to battle via online or local multiplayer as well as a 20-mission single-player campaign.
StarFront: Collision will be available on the iPhone and iPad "soon," but for now you can check out the game's trailer below. And before we all get carried away with the snark about how it's stealing from StarCraft, let's not forget that Blizzard has borrowed some ideas in their time as well.
