EA Sports MMA Sequel Will Happen
Despite some concerns over how well it did at retail, it sounds like a sequel to EA Sports MMA is an inevitability.
Speaking in an interview with Figure Four Online, EA Sports MMA producer Jeff Ecker said, "There is definitely going to be an EA Sports MMA 2." Ecker declined to discuss the sales issue but assured that a sequel is "not 'if' but 'when."
GI reviewer Ben Reeves found EA's first effort at MMA to be quite good, so I'm glad they're taking a chance to continue refining the game. Here's hoping the sequel does better whenever it ends up releasing.
