Get In Dirt 3's Co-Driver Seat

by Matthew Kato on Nov 16, 2010 at 09:45 AM

Some rally fans might have felt disappointed that Dirt 2 and the Dirt series in general put the racing discipline more on the back burner than developer Codemasters' previous Colin McRae rally series. Dirt 3, however, brings rally racing back to the forefront (the developer says its 60 percent of the game overall), and the team is here to talk about it in the first part of the game's developer diary.

The game features six head-to-head stages and 32 straight up rally stages, and these are incorporated in to your larger career structure, which itself is filled with sponsorship obligations, other racing disciplines, Gymkhana events, and much more.

Look for Dirt 3 sometime next year, and more developer diary entries from the team as we get them.
