War For Cybertron Getting A Sequel
The best Transformers game ever made is receiving a follow-up, according to recent details revealed by Hasbro.
We loved War for Cybertron, so it came as a happy surprise to hear that Hasbro plans on continuing the franchise. In a recent investor conference, Hasbro senior vice president Mark Blecher expressed his happiness with the first title, and plans to move forward with the franchise. "This is the most highly rated, critical success of any game that's had the Hasbro brand yet and we're looking forward to a sequel in 2012," Blecher said.
He also suggested that a game accompanying the new Dark of the Moon Transformers film would be out in 2011, and that the Transformers MMO that is being developed by NetDragon may actually make it stateside.
