The lights are on
Looks like Tom Clancy's elite future warfare unit won't be taking the safeties off their guns any time soon.
Ubisoft announced the delay for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Driver: San Francisco in an earnings release today. This marks the second official delay for both titles, as the company previously delayed the titles from 2010 to 2011. No reasons were given for the latest prolongment, but if there are no other unforeseen roadblocks the titles should reach store shelves sometime between April 2011 and March 2012.
Future Soldier senior community developer Kimi Matsuzaki said people who purchased Splinter Cell: Conviction earlier in the year will still be able to participate in a Ghost Recon beta, but that it will happen closer to the launch window.

Very disappointing. I love the Ghost Recon games. Hoping for a new Rainbow Six title soon as well.
Nice release window there, Ubisoft.
GIVE ME BETA!!!!! its taking for EVER!
Son of a b****!!!! Gaaah this is really pissing me off right now.
Even Tom Clancy has to be very carful with a MW style game, in this area you war fighter game will get chewed up and spit out.. So I would say take your time and give it the polish it need to break new ground..
This sucks because i couldn't wait for the 2 games
Well, announcing a beta gives me hope the game will be here soon enough, and I can't wait for some more Ghost Recon. Hope they're taking the time to polish it up.
not following this, but might buying this game if its released
not happy, but still really looking forward to the new 'GRAW'
Well, with Medal of Honor, Halo Reach and Call of Duty: Black Ops i've got enough for now.
It can wait
If it means Future Soldier will be more polished, I can't complain. Definitely looking forward to the next GRAW installment.
I'm not surprised. As long as ubisoft can deliver than they can push it back all they want
