The lights are on
Looks like Tom Clancy's elite future warfare unit won't be taking the safeties off their guns any time soon.
Ubisoft announced the delay for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Driver: San Francisco in an earnings release today. This marks the second official delay for both titles, as the company previously delayed the titles from 2010 to 2011. No reasons were given for the latest prolongment, but if there are no other unforeseen roadblocks the titles should reach store shelves sometime between April 2011 and March 2012.
Future Soldier senior community developer Kimi Matsuzaki said people who purchased Splinter Cell: Conviction earlier in the year will still be able to participate in a Ghost Recon beta, but that it will happen closer to the launch window.

That is dissapointing.
BIG FREAKING SURPRISE THERE!
aw no future soldier yet
disappointing, but probably for the best. If I had to choose between delaying a game or releasing a sub par game, well the answer is obvious.
While I'm disappointed to see Ubisoft delay another Tom Clancy game, the extra time did wonders for Conviction, so I'm not too upset.
Well there's plenty of new games coming out so I can wait....Assassin's Creed tomorrow!
What else is new?
man i want that ghost recon game.
I'm SOOO looking forward to Future Soldier. I've played G.R.A.W. and G.R.A.W.2 and they were both awesome. I love being a marksman in multiplayer.
They'll be released when they are ready. I'm fine with it. Actually do not even care about Driver.
This sucks, I really want a new Tom Clancy game to come out so I dont have to bother with COD or Battlefield or any of the other mainstream first person shooters, of course this will be in third person but I wish they would go back to the original way ghost recon was.
I hope Ubisoft knows they have a reputation as the only company who delays so many games.
*** my ive been waiting FOREVER for this *** game
I'd much rather have a new Rainbow Six game. yeah Ghost Recon Advanced War fighter was great but the limitless possibility of Rainbow Six multiplayer was freaking awesome.
