Step Into The Ring With New Fight Night Champion Trailer & Screens
We loved the old Fight Night games, and it's almost crazy to think that the series needed to be rebooted so to speak, but EA Sports and developer EA Canada are taking things to the next level with Fight Night Champion. The sport – believe it or not – looks even more bloody, sweaty, and brutal than ever, and this first trailer also shows a little bit of the thankfully updated career mode.
Although the game will certainly feature plenty of legends from the annuals of boxing, this game also tells your story and how you became a champion. Although the trailer doesn't go super heavy into the details, it looks like you'll have press interviews, plenty of interaction with your gravel-voiced trainer, underground bare-knuckle fights (illegal boxing?! Gasp!), and much more. Who knows how real-life legends may or may not also figure into the equation.
Story based sports games sometimes get a bad rap, but if there's one sport where it feels appropriate, it's boxing. Here's hoping that Fight Night Champion delivers the heavy hits.
