Retailers Going Full Assault On Black Ops Midnight Launches
Sometimes you want a game so bad that you refuse to wait one second after its released to pick it up. Fans of Call of Duty have such fervor, and retailers across the nation will be opening their doors at midnight to hand the coveted title customers who preordered.
If you preorder at one of the 4,408 GameStop stores hosting the midnight launch, you'll be treated to some pregame festivities and perks. Starting at 9:30 p.m. you can get your face painted jungle camouflage style. You'll also be treated to 250 PowerUp Reward points, which net you deals at the store. The catch is you have to preorder 48 hours ahead of time.
Best Buy, Toys R Us, and Walmart will also be doing midnight launches. If you show up to Walmart you can score a Black Ops bandana for your trouble.
