Win A Free Copy Of Enslaved

by Dan Ryckert on Nov 04, 2010 at 12:40 PM

Trip from Enslaved is a pretty crucial part of the gameplay experience. She helps out by scanning areas and detecting enemies for you, but can also reel you in and halt your exploratory instincts if you stray too far from her. A.I. partners like her aren't new to gaming; we've partnered with Ashley in Resident Evil 4, Captain Price in Call of Duty, and even G-Unit in 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand.

Tell us about your best and worst experiences with A.I. partners or escort missions in the comments. Sometime tomorrow, I'll take a look through them and send a copy of Enslaved for Xbox 360 to one lucky winner.

UPDATE: Winner

Our winner of Enslaved is GI user Ed, who posted the following comment:

Best Moment- Dead Rising 2. I saved a half naked women from a swarm of zombies and gave her a spiked bat to defend herself while we made our way to the safe house. Once outside I lost track of her. Finally in the distance I saw zombies falling at an incredible rate. Once I got closer, I saw it was her, fighting like a crazed women out for revenge. She was no longer interested in following me despite my calls. She was on a mission, a mission to kill every single last zombie in the area. I eventually had to reload the save, and gave her a push broom instead.

Worst Moment- Fallout New Vegas. I had found a companion robot in Primm. It was awesome. He had long range lazers, and he could hold all of my spare stuff so I had twice the amount of carrying weight. Eventually I got to a mission where some people at a Followers group wanted to check him out. I gave him to them and they told me to come back in 3 days and they will improve his lazers. 3 days later I got him back, minus all of the rare and awesome weapons and ammo he was holding for me. Worst of all, I forgot to save for hours, and my auto save from only minutes before I gave him to them had corrupted. Worst. Luck. Ever.
