The Smiling Face Of Kinect

Some companies are trying to reduce the amount of stuff they pack into your game boxes, but it looks like many Kinect games will add another slip of paper to the pile. We found this smiling face included with several Kinect titles, though it seems to be of questionable usefulness.

Apparently, the little grin-in-a-box is part of the calibration process, but none of the games we've been playing have asked for the card specifically. Still, the text on the back seems pretty insistent (in multilingual fashion) that you protect the card's well-being with your life.

So, what does it all mean? Nothing really, except that you can expect to see a lot more of that face staring at you if you pick up Kinect later this week.
