The lights are on
In this week's episode, we play the intro level of the PlayStation classic Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey. Highlights include Ben and Dan farting and growling at just about everything, in addition to getting mowed down by hostile fire. As this is happening, Reiner and I are mainly trying to convince them that electrical fields give them extra lightning abilities and that mines are really power-ups. After the main event, stick around for Replay Roulette, where we play a game from Square that is a deviation from the role-playing titles the company was known for during the era of the original PlayStation.

Can't wait to watch! :D
Wow. Funny that I bought this on PSN like a month ago. Its almost unplayable due to certain aspects of Abe's jumping and the insta-death nature of the game mid way through.
hahaha "Thats not how you spell odyssey"
How many franchises from the Playstation era are relevant in today's gaming landscape?
Every time I frolic in nostalgia, I feel old. Truly a dinosaur in this unrelenting, famished Edison of an industry...and I'm not even 20.
The video stops at 3:12 for no reason.
Thx for this. Always wondered what these games were like.
I might pick em up off PSN if I can find the time. Looks like a pretty funny yet sadistic game. For a PS1 game it looks good.
Dont worry Dan-youre good at videogames.
I've played this game the other day and it's still very good. This is definately up there on my favorite games list. Thanks for the replay guys.
well you did gex then abe, you might as well do sly to complete the playstation hero trilogy.
Awesome replay! I never played Abe's Oddysee, but now I really want to. It looks hilarious.
Play Goof Troop!!!!!!!!!
You guys should do a Max Payne replay I am replaying Max Payne 2 right now, and frustration abounds...mostly due to the controls of the day...
Is Dan ever gonna bring up SMB 3 when Reiner tells him he sucks? Reiner's pretty cocky for someone who failed so badly.
God that game was great; and still is. Used to play this at my friends house. I think this is the second most played game of my childhood. Right after Twisted Metal on PS1.
Lol, I don't know how someone would like this game.
To me, growing up with the PS1, this game was super creepy with a dark tone and somewhat depressing. Most of the monsters resemble hands or fingers, which really creeps me out, and Abe and his people are creepy too, then they start to eat them. But Abe's voice creeps me out the most. Plus, the game-play was extremely annoying.
you should replay Glover
You guys let Dan onto these things because he's the one who is most interesting to listen to. At least you've got one fan Dan!!!
Fond memories of einhander.
I wish Stranger's Wrath was coming to XBLA...
Nice Replay, that game looked like a lot of fun.
