How Does Your Halo: Reach Rank Stack Up Against Everyone Else?

by Bryan Vore on Oct 09, 2010 at 08:54 AM

Learn the answer to this question, plus find out the exact day in October that the Campaign Matchmaking will go online, and find out about the upcoming raised level cap.

Bungie's update this week was chock full of interesting stuff, including the chart above. It shows the total player base broken down by ranking. As Bungie points out, over 70 percent of all players are ranked at Warrant Officer or below. Less than 1 percent of the population has hit the level cap at the end of the Lieutenant Colonel track. Just in case that includes you, don't worry. All of the points you've earned since hitting the cap will go towards the next rank when the level cap is raised. When will this be? The official comment is "soon," but Bungie's Sketch estimates it'll happen in the next month or two.

One date we do have is the launch of Campaign Matchmaking. This will go live on October 19, so you can finally play the campaign with complete strangers if all of your buddies are too wussy to play a Legendary co-op campaign.

Check out the post yourself for all kinds of interesting stats and a breakdown on how Bungie makes Legendary so hard.
