Legendary Special Edition Pokémon Black, White DSi Bundles Available Soon

Japan always gets all the cool stuff. Pokémon Black and White are already out in Japan with great success selling a couple million at launch. To keep sales numbers rolling, Nintendo plans on releasing special edition Pokémon Black and White DSi bundles featuring cool artwork of each game's Legendary Pokémon.

The bundle will be available November 20 and includes a copy of the game for ¥19,800 (roughly $240). Pokémon Black and White won't hit U.S. soil until next year. If we got a bundle like this would you pick one up?

Honestly? Probably not, but not because I don't like the series. I always feel weird at the thought of getting a special edition console or handheld that has a specific game design or image on it. What if I turn out not to like the game? Or what if I like it, but I don't really play it much after I've beaten it?

Now, if it was like the Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep special edition PSP, where it's just a different color, but doesn't have any special logos or designs on it, that'd I'd go for.

Does anyone else think it's funny when you see the terms "legendary" and "special edition" tied to a Pokemon property?

They're awesome looking systems, but with the 3DS so close to release, I would think most people will stay away for the simple fact that they will be saving their money for the 3DS release.
