Get A Guided Tour Of SvR 2011, Courtesy Of MVP
By now, we’re all pretty familiar with the basics of motion capture. You put on a suit with a bunch of dots, prance around for a while, and your actions are translated to a computer through a Geometry Wars-looking skeleton. It can be pretty dry stuff, which is why THQ made a smart move in having WWE star MVP give viewers a tour of how it works with the new Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 game.
In the video below, MVP dons a suit, talks a little smack, and knocks a few guys around in the studio’s ring. All the while, a split screen shows off how MVP’s actions will translate to the game. If you haven’t been following development, the latest version in the long-running franchise will let players actually walk the halls of the arenas, running into other wrestlers and management types. If you play your cards right, you’ll even be able to smash John Cena’s face into a copy machine.
Aren’t his jean shorts punishment enough?
