Fallout: New Vegas Is Done!

But you still can't play it. Psych! However, there was cake. Also, the PC system requirements were revealed. We have no idea how these bits of news relate to each other either, but that's apparently how Bethesda rolls.

The publisher announced all this in a scattershot blog post earlier today. The cake was a surprise birthday present to New Vegas designer Robert Lee, who "had no clue she was planning this."

To play New Vegas on PC, you'll need the following:

  • OS: Windows XP, Vista, or 7
  • CPU: Dual-core 2.0 GHz or faster
  • RAM: 2GB
  • HDD: 10GB install space
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce 6 or newer, or ATI Radeon X1300 or newer

Happy birthday, Robert! Also, congrats to the development team at Obsidian. Now release the game already!
