Bit.Trip Beat Now On iPhone
Gaijin's excellent WiiWare game has made the jump to Apple's portable platform.
We've been big fans of Gaijin's Bit.Trip series since it first launched on WiiWare. It seems the developer is ready for a new challenge, and has ported the game to iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, along with some new downloadable levels, tilt and touch control options, and cooperative multiplayer.
The game uses pixelated graphics and old-school chiptune-style music to reinvigorate the old formula first seen in Pong -- bounce balls back on a paddle with ever great speed. In Bit.Trip Beat, the formula gets a lot more complicated pretty quickly.
You can buy the game on sale right now at Apple's iTunes for only $1.99.
