Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition Unveils New Screens, Trailer & Features

by Matthew Kato on Sep 30, 2010 at 04:30 AM

The Nintendo 3DS should have some great titles behind it when it comes out next year, and one of those is Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition from Capcom. Apart from the SSF IV experience you'd expect, the publisher/developer is packing in some cool features to make this game more than a 3D gimmick.

Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition not only features wireless online play, but also a figure battle mode. As you progress in the game you collect figures of your fighters. Your roster of figures can then face off against other player's fighters even if you don't have the game inserted – all you have to do is walk by someone who also owns the game. By the looks of things, you won't be able to fight these battles yourself, as these appear to be simulated duels. However, we expect there are more details around this mode, so stay tuned for more info as we get it.

In the meantime, enjoy the trailer. Also, be sure to check out the new screens after the jump.
