Do you enjoy basketball video games, but feel that the standard, thoroughly-researched and time-tested first party analog sticks don't offer you the control you need? Well what if they were taller?

That seems to be the mindset behind the Hoops Freek analog add-ons. Made by Kontrol Freek, they're available now on the official site at what appears to be a sale price of $9.99 (MSRP $19.99). The product description calls them a "must-have for fans of NBA Elite, NBA Live, NBA 2k, and NCAA Basketball." Apparently they didn't get the memo about Elite.

It claims to help you perform b-ball moves "with greater ease thanks to the added precision and comfort the Hoops Freek provides." I don't quite get how these would be a huge help, frankly. That's like saying "Do you like walking, but don't feel that your tennis shoes give you the coordination required to perform at your best? Well buy some gigantic platform shoes!".
