Alan Wake's Final DLC Coming October 12th

Promising to "end the nightmare," Alan Wake's final piece of downloadable content is coming on October 12th. Titled "The Writer," it will follow suit with the game's previous DLC by costing 560 Microsoft points.

i took my copy of alan wake to my little brothers house.... after he gave the controller to someone else to let them play he "Accidentaly" bounced a basketball on the 360 -.-

thats looks awesome. i hope it doesn't 'give away' too many 'answers.' the mystery and even confusion are an important part of the game , i think.

'Alan Wake' contains a very creepy and unique game world. The first DLC was good, but not great. I am hoping we get a few more answers in this second DLC. Also, hoping for MUCH more enemy variety in the possible sequel.

All in all though, I've very much enjoyed 'Alan Wake' and have played it several times. Quite memorable and unforgettable, both story wise and character wise.

I can't wait to finish this game. I got my copy of the game kind of late so I can't say the wait has been too painful for me, but this is going to be oh so awesome. Here's to hoping the end of the nightmare doesn't mean the end for Alan Wake because I would love for there to be a sequel.

Awww man, I guess they canceled one of the DLC packs then since originally 'The Writer' was called the middle-piece of DLC. I really wish this game would have done better, it's one of the only games I've ever 100 percented with all the achievements.

It's a good thing that we know when it's going to be released now, but a bad thing because it's the last DLC :(
